My blog page was not updated yesterday due to the server being down during the afternoon, so I have included the information for both yesterday and today.
Tuesday – We reviewed for our noun test together in class. For classes B and C, I gave the students notes on exactly what would be tested. Classes A and D had additional review today before the test.
We also reviewed the five vocabulary words that are on page 18 of the literature book. Then we read the story, “Just Once,” which begins on page 19 of the literature book. We reviewed the elements of a story, which can be found on pages 2 and 3 of the literature book. Students were assigned a total of eleven words to know for their vocabulary test tomorrow. They are:
- devastating
- nurturing
- anonymous
- tolerant
- ponder
- plot
- character
- conflict
- setting
- climax
- resolution
